1 man killed, another wounded in Fort Worth shooting

The shooting was unrelated to protesting underway in Fort Worth on Sunday.

One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Sunday night in Fort Worth.

Officers were called shortly before 10 p.m. to Griff’s Hamburgers, a restaurant in the 4200 block of East Lancaster Avenue, where police said the two men had been shot.

One man, identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as 27-year-old Sean Darrius Woodberry, had been shot in the chest and died in the restaurant’s parking lot, police said.

Another man, who wasn’t identified, was shot in the neck. He is in stable condition, police said.
