A Dallas County grand jury indicted Daneale Petergay Walker, 27, earlier this month, court records show.

Authorities say Walker shot 38-year-old Shenequia Edwards about 2:15 a.m. April 8.

According to police, the two women argued at a restaurant and then drove away in separate vehicles.

Walker pulled alongside Edwards’ vehicle and shot her, causing her to crash in the 1700 block of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard, police said. Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.

Walker, who was arrested the day of the shooting, remains in custody at the Dallas County jail. She also faces a charge of family-violence assault, jail records show, and her bail is set at $265,000. Her attorney could not be reached for comment.
