Officers had initially responded about 2:30 p.m. to a burglary in progress at a residence in the 8200 block of Garland Road, just east of the intersection of Gaston and Grand avenues.

A person in the home told police that Mansaray was still inside the house, and the ensuing barricade situation ultimately drew more than two dozen units to the scene.

SWAT officers negotiated with Mansaray, who after several hours was taken into custody without incident.

No injuries were reported, police said.
