Man accused of stealing a school bus is arrested in McKinney

Police said a man stole a Princeton ISD school bus and drove it to McKinney, where he was arrested Friday.

Officers were tipped off by a resident who saw the stolen bus near a Sam’s Club off Highway 380, according to a report from K-DFW (Channel 4). No children were on board the bus when police stopped it on Custer Road, according to the news report.

Collin County jail records show that Justin Bryce Cullum, 25, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, a felony, and with the possession of under 2 ounces of marijuana.

Officials with Princeton ISD did not return a request for comment.
