Dallas police looking for person of interest in shooting that wounded pregnant woman as she left church

The woman gave birth to a healthy boy, whom she named Marvelous.

Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with a shooting last month that wounded a pregnant woman who had just left a far northeast Dallas church.

Police released an image of the man Wednesday night.

Officers were called about 1 p.m. May 30 to the 9700 block of Forest Lane, where a group of men had been involved in a shooting.

Victoria Omisore, 32, was wounded as she walked through the parking lot after leaving Praise Embassy Church. She was taken to a hospital, where doctors delivered her baby.

Police said the gunmen fled in a black Ford Focus and a Champagne-colored Nissan sedan.

“What God did for me that day is, oh my goodness, indeed God is marvelous,” she told KXAS-TV (NBC5).
