Couple dead in apparent murder-suicide in far northeast Dallas, police say

The man is believed to have fatally shot his girlfriend before killing himself.

A woman and a man who had been dating were found dead Tuesday evening in far northeast Dallas in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide.

Police responded about 6:45 p.m. to an apartment in the 9900 block of Adleta Boulevard, near Skillman Street and Interstate 635, where they found the couple dead.

Investigators believe the man fatally shot his girlfriend before killing himself.

Their identities have not been released, and police did not provide any information about what may have led to the shooting.
