Police looking for suspect after man shot in northwest Dallas

The victim was wounded Sunday evening on Dennis Road, near Royal Lane and Webb Chapel Road.

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who is suspected in a shooting Sunday evening in northwest Dallas.

Investigators, who released photos from the investigation, said the heavily tattooed man, who was wearing black pants and white tennis shoes and didn’t have a shirt on, opened fire after a dispute about 6 p.m. on Dennis Road near Royal Lane and Webb Chapel Road.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital and was stable, police said.

Police said the gunman fled in a white four-door Nissan Altima with another man, whom police described as a person of interest. That man was also shown in a photo authorities released. He was wearing gray pants, a gray-and-white striped shirt and black tennis shoes.
