Dallas police release video of person wanted in slaying at Oak Cliff apartments

The victim was found May 20 near the front gate of the complex in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive, police said.

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help after a man was found fatally shot near the gate of an east Oak Cliff apartment complex in May.

Officers responded about 10:20 p.m. May 20 to an apartment complex in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive, near Bonnie View Road, where they found a man lying near the front gate with a gunshot wound.

Dallas Fire-Rescue took the man, who has not been identified, to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police released video Friday showing a person they said is a suspect in the slaying.
