Fort Worth man in critical condition after being stabbed by wife, police say

The man was hospitalized early Saturday, police said, while the woman was taken into custody.

A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed by his wife in Fort Worth early Saturday, police say.

About 4:20 a.m., officers were called to a home in the 700 block of River Hill Lane, near LTjg Barnett Road west of River Oaks, where they found a man with a stab wound to his abdomen.

According to police, the man said he was in an argument his wife that turned into a physical confrontation, which led to the stabbing.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said, while the woman was taken into custody. Her name and the charges she faced were not released.

No additional information was immediately available.
