Person dies after becoming ‘entangled’ with construction equipment, Fort Worth police say

A person who apparently “became entangled with some construction equipment” died Wednesday, Fort Worth police said.

The victim, who has not been publicly identified, died at the scene.

About 4:45 a.m., officers responded to 401 Northeast Loop 820 and discovered the victim, according to police.

“It is believed that the victim became entangled with some construction equipment and was unable to get free,” a Fort Worth police spokesperson said in an email.

Additional details about the incident, including whether the victim was a construction worker at the site, were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing.
