Dallas police on Wednesday released pictures and videos related to a fatal June 7 shooting in a bid for suspect information.
Keylon Brown, 29, was shot and killed early Friday morning at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of West Wheatland Road, near South Polk Street, police said. On Wednesday, police said in a news release that Brown was ambushed and killed by two suspects as he unloaded items from his car.
Included in the release are surveillance pictures and a video believed to show the events leading up to the shooting.
The release said two suspects dressed in all-black clothing, one armed with a handgun and the other with a rifle, shot Brown before leaving in a silver sedan with a third suspect.
In the video, a man in a white shirt can be seen standing next to a red sedan. Two people in black clothing run up behind him, before the video ends. Pictures released by police show three suspects in black clothing walking across an apartment courtyard, before two of the suspects stand at the side of a building and peer around the corner.
The release said the three suspects left westbound on West Wheatland Road. Police said Brown was transported to a hospital, where he died.
