Sheriff’s office describes suspect vehicle as 2017-2020 silver/grey Honda Accord with front end damage

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a vehicle involved in a Wednesday morning hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian.

Sheriff’s department spokesperson Douglas Sisk said in an email the crash happened between 5:50 and 6 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 30, near the Buckner Boulevard exit. Sisk said deputies are searching for a 2017 to 2020 silver or grey Honda Accord, believed to have heavy front-end damage from the crash.

A post on X shortly before 8 a.m. said the suspect vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian and kept driving.

Sisk said Monday the victim, identified as 76-year-old Carlos Serrano Guerroro, was hit while attempting to cross the highway.
