Dallas police: Help ID men tied shooting death at illegal Oak Cliff game room

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of East Ledbetter Drive.

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate two men possibly tied to a shooting death earlier this week at an Oak Cliff at an illegal gambling spot.

Officers responded about 8:45 p.m. to a shooting call in the 300 block of East Ledbetter Drive, near Rocky Ridge Road. They found the two men inside with gunshot wounds.

Estevan Narvaez Jr, 40, died at the scene, and the other man was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

People were illegally gambling in the area when at least two suspects walked inside, demanded property and fired at Narvaez before fleeing, police said.
