Dallas police said Thursday that a suspect has been arrested in connection with a double shooting earlier this week that left one man dead and another person injured.

Jailon Anderson, 23, is facing a charge of capital murder in the Sunday morning shootings in the Red Bird neighborhood, Dallas police said in a written statement.

Police responded about 11 a.m. on Oct. 13 to a shooting call in the 200 block of West Camp Wisdom Road. When officers arrived, they found two people shot in a car with both suffering from gunshot wounds, investigators said at the time.
