Denton man charged with trafficking after holding girl against her will, police say

Jordan Christopher Hagen, 23, indicted on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, trafficking of persons, indecency with a child and online solicitation of a minor.

A Denton man has been charged with multiple sex crimes after police said he met a 15-year-old girl online and held her against her will.

Jordan Christopher Hagen, 23, was arrested in late August following a multiagency effort to find a missing Frisco girl, Denton police said in a news release. At about 7 p.m. Aug. 22, Frisco police contacted Denton police for assistance searching for the girl, who reported to police that she was being held against her will at a man’s apartment in Denton.

The girl was able to share her location with police, leading Denton, Frisco and University of North Texas police officers to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of West Oak Street. At the apartment, the girl was found and taken to a hospital for evaluation, while Hagen was arrested, police said.

Investigators learned Hagen and the girl met in an online chat room and communicated through an online messaging app. Police said Hagen picked up the girl in Frisco and took her to his apartment in Denton.
