Dallas police are investigating the fatal shooting of a person found wounded in northwest Dallas early Friday.
Officers responded at 2 a.m. to the shooting in the 9700 block of Harry Hines Boulevard, near Community Drive.
Investigators found that an unknown suspect had shot someone. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and the wounded person — whom police did not identify — died at the scene.
Police did not release any additional information about the shooting and said an investigation is ongoing.
