Police said the suspects had no connection to the victim and were not residents of North Richland Hills

Authorities announced Sunday that three arrests have been made in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred the night before Thanksgiving in North Richland Hills.

North Richland Hills police responded to reports of gunshots at 10:57 p.m. Wednesday in the 7300 block of Stonybrooke Drive, where officers found a man with gunshot wounds, a police spokesperson said in a statement Friday.

North Richland Hills police, in conjunction with Fort Worth police, arrested two suspects in connection with Pence’s death early Saturday morning, a police statement said. On Sunday afternoon, officers conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a third suspect.

Police said the suspects, who were not identified, had no connection to Pence.

“These three individuals, who are not residents of North Richland Hills, entered the city intending to carry out a drive-by shooting stemming from what can only be described as a juvenile feud,” the statement said. “However, they targeted the wrong address.”

Additional information on the suspects will not be available until they have had an opportunity to appear before a judge, police said.
