Have questions about voting in this year’s elections? Ask them at a virtual town hall this week

The Dallas Morning News and Texas Metro News are sponsoring the forum Thursday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.

The Dallas Morning News and Texas Metro News are hosting Know About It/Vote About It, a virtual town hall Thursday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. to answer voters’ questions ahead of the Nov. 3 elections.

The event is free, but space is limited. Participants will receive a digital guide to voting, and anyone who’s not a Dallas Morning News subscriber will receive one free month of digital access after the event.

“When you consider changes in the election process, misinformation and the current climate of social unrest and COVID-19, it is even more imperative that we have an informed electorate," Texas Metro News publisher Cheryl Smith said. "This year more than four million Americans became eligible to vote, and we hope to reach as many as possible along with other potential voters who have felt disenfranchised or disconnected.”
