A Plano family has sold their home to travel around the United States in a luxury RV, KXAS-TV (Channel 5) reported.
Their new mode of living has allowed them to remain mobile while working from home during the pandemic, according to the report.
“We were just working and going through the grind from home,” Cliff Brown told Channel 5. “We can do that from anywhere.”
Although many of their friends thought the move was “crazy,” everything was carefully planned, Mandy Brown told the TV station.
Traveling in a 43-foot RV the family calls “Mojo,” the Browns have crossed through Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia.
Their daughter, Polly, and son, Clifton Brown V, are remote and home-schooled, according to the report. A plus for their new lifestyle is getting to see and experience history and places, rather than just read about them, the report said.
“Get them out of the Plano bubble,” Cliff Brown told the TV station. “Great bubble! Loved living there. Something new, though.”
The family was en route to Pennsylvania last week so that Cliff could pick up a bachelor’s degree diploma he earned taking courses online.
“I think there’s a silver lining to anything,” Cliff told Channel 5. “And I think we found it.”
