Have you experienced problems getting tested for coronavirus?

As testing becomes more widely available, we want to know what obstacles you’re running into.

State and county health officials have promised to make testing for the new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, more widely available as more cases crop up across the state of Texas.

More than 70 cases of the virus have been reported in the state so far.

In a Monday news conference, Gov. Greg Abbott told Texans that by the end of the week, anyone who needs a COVID-19 test will be able to receive one and estimated the state would test 10,000 people by the end of the week.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins also announced the pending opening of two clinics capable of performing tests for COVID-19. The centers will be in Grand Prairie and at the American Airlines Center.

Those centers will be capable of testing about 5,000 people a week, according to Jenkins.
