Someone’s wallet in North Texas is about to get a lot thicker.
A estimated annuitized $95 million jackpot-winning ticket in Lotto Texas’ Saturday night drawing was purchased in Colleyville, Texas Lottery announced. The lottery said the cash value is roughly $57.5 million.
This was the third largest in Lotto Texas history, following a $145 million winning ticket sold in El Paso in 2004 and a $97 million winning ticket sold in Dallas in 2010.
The weekend’s winning drawing was the 93rd in this Texas Lotto run and came seven months after the jackpot was first announced for $5 million in September. It was the longest jackpot run in game history.
It was unclear as of Monday morning if anyone had claimed the winning ticket; they have 180 days from the drawing to do so. Lottery winners in Texas can choose to remain anonymous.
