In the last week, three Texans claimed prizes worth at least $1 million playing different lottery games.
The winners, who all chose to remain anonymous, live in Plano, Amarillo and Pasadena, according to recent Texas Lottery news releases.
The Plano resident won a Texas Two Step jackpot worth $1.25 million in the Aug. 22 drawing, a Thursday release said.
The Quick Pick ticket — purchased at the Walmart Fuel Center at 6040 Coit Road in Plano — matched all four of the white ball numbers drawn (16-29-32-35) and the red Bonus Ball (35).
The Amarillo resident’s win was $1,000,002 in the Mega Millions drawing on July 30, Texas Lottery announced Thursday.
That Quick Pick ticket, which also had a $2 win on it, matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (19-23-30-33-50) but not the Mega Ball number (25). It was purchased at the Toot’n Totum 3 on East Amarillo Boulevard in Amarillo.
The Pasadena resident won the $1 million prize on a scratch ticket game, a Friday news release said. The 200X Power Blitz ticket was bought at the Coco Loco Tropical on Houston Boulevard in South Houston.
