Parts of I-30 and State Highway 360 in Arlington will close this week for a bridge construction.
Drivers should expect major delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
Here’s a look at what is closing.
- The I-30 westbound frontage road between Six Flags Drive and State Highway 360 will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday. Traffic will detour north on Six Flags Drive, then west on Lamar Boulevard, then south on Baird Farm Road before returning to the frontage road.
- Southbound State Highway 360 will close between Avenue J and Six Flags Drive at 8 p.m. Saturday. The lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. Sunday. Traffic will detour onto the southbound frontage road and reenter the highway from the Lamar Boulevard ramp.
- Westbound I-30 will close between Six Flags Drive and AT&T Way/Baird Farm Road at 9 p.m. Saturday. The lanes will reopen at 9 p.m. the following day. Traffic will detour onto the frontage road and reenter from AT&T Way/Baird Farm Road.
The work is part of the I-30/SH 360 Interchange Project, a $233 million project to improve traffic flow by the Texas Department of Transportation.
