Crash on US 75 in Dallas snarls commuter traffic early Tuesday

Before 7 a.m., all traffic was being redirected off the highway.

A crash Tuesday blocked lanes of southbound U.S. 75, forcing traffic off the highway and causing delays for commuters.

The crash, near the Haskell Avenue exit, was confirmed about 6:40 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation. By 7:15 a.m. only the two exit lanes and two of the four main lanes were reopened and roughly 10 minutes later all lanes reopened.

Dallas police said the crash involved multiple vehicles and at least one person was taken to the hospital, but no deaths were reported.
