Wet weather caused crash that left Amazon 18-wheeler hanging from Dallas County bridge

The driver was uninjured.

Officials determined rainy weather played a role in the crash that left an 18-wheeler hanging from a bridge overnight in Dallas.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office sent out a traffic alert about 11:45 p.m. Monday saying deputies were investigating a crash in the area of Interstate 345 and Interstate 45 on the edge of downtown.

Texas Department of Transportation cameras showed an Amazon-branded tractor trailer dangling from a guardrail into early Tuesday.
