At least two people were injured after a crash involving a DART train Tuesday morning in east Oak Cliff.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded shortly before 6 a.m. to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in the 1400 block of East Saner Avenue, off Lancaster Road, and transported the two injured to the hospital, an agency spokesperson said. The severity of their injuries was not immediately clear.
DART alerted passengers using the Blue Line may experience delays due to a crash blocking the tracks near Kiest Station, according to posts on X. Shuttle buses were available between Kiest and Morrell because of the crash.
At least four units with Dallas Fire-Rescue remained at the location as of 7:30 a.m., according to a call log.
A DART spokesperson could not immediately be reached.
