Multi-vehicle crash involving DART train in Oak Cliff injures at least 2 people

The crash caused delays on DART’s Blue Line in Dallas early Tuesday.

At least two people were injured after a crash involving a DART train Tuesday morning in east Oak Cliff.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded shortly before 6 a.m. to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in the 1400 block of East Saner Avenue, off Lancaster Road, and transported the two injured to the hospital, an agency spokesperson said. The severity of their injuries was not immediately clear.

DART alerted passengers using the Blue Line may experience delays due to a crash blocking the tracks near Kiest Station, according to posts on X. Shuttle buses were available between Kiest and Morrell because of the crash.
