Pleasant weekend weather

Your forecast from the NBC 5 Weather Experts

In the wake of Friday’s cold front, the weekend will be warm, but not as hot as the normal 97 degrees at this time of the year. Instead, look for highs in the low to mid 90s through Sunday with continued low humidity. Evening temperatures will be quite pleasant by early August standards with mostly clear skies and overnight lows falling into the 60s.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal through the middle part of next week. By the second half of the week, expect a return to southerly winds along with increasing heat and humidity.
