The new work-week begins with breezy, hot and humid weather with a slight chance of rain. Today’s high will be in the lower 90s, but with the humidity in place it will feel like 100. A couple of isolated thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon, mainly to the southeast of DFW.
The chance of rain will increase toward the middle of the week as Gulf moisture increases. A disturbance in the Gulf will approach the coast by mid-week. We’ll be watching this system closely, as heavy rain is possible across South Texas.
