Comfortable weather, but continued dry

The forecast from the NBC 5 Weather Experts

This quiet and dry weather pattern is going to continue into next week. Low temperatures tonight will not be as low as Thursday morning, but much of North Texas will still have early morning Friday temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to around 80 through the weekend.

As the drought worsens, the grass-fire threat will be high as well. Just a small spark could get a grass-fire going quickly.

Warmer weather looks to build next week when the upper 80s will likely return.
