Wednesday should be pleasant weather ahead of multiple rainy days in Dallas-Fort Worth

The severe weather threat is uncertain for later in the week.

Keep the umbrella handy, North Texas, because the region is about to have back-to-back-to-back rainy days.

After severe storms Sunday and Monday followed by rain showers Tuesday morning, the wet weather paused most of Tuesday and clear conditions were expected Wednesday.

However, rain will return throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Thursday and linger through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
