Legacy Hall

This 21st-century version of an Old World marketplace in Plano’s Legacy West development is a three-story, wood-and-steel temple to food as entertainment. About 20 local purveyors including chefs Tiffany Derry and John Tesar offer up bao to burgers, pizza to shawarma, craft beer to Cristal, amid a thumping soundtrack and live music and game nights. The hall became a genuine gathering place centered on food, even if most of the food was utterly unremarkable. Recently, eight local chefs departed, including Tesar, and the top two floors were turned into hall-operated restaurants offering more service.
