Oklahoma State RB Ollie Gordon II releases apology after DUI arrest

The Euless Trinity product took to social media on Monday to address his recent arrest.

On Monday, Oklahoma State running back and Euless Trinity product Ollie Gordon II released an apology on social media. Gordon II was arrested for driving under the influence on Jun. 30 on Interstate 35 south of Oklahoma City.

According to reports and a probable cause affidavit, the trooper spotted a half-full bottle of vodka and a half-full bottle of tequila while Gordon was stopped.

Gordon was one of the nation’s top collegiate running backs last season. He won the Doak Walker Award after posting 1,732 rushing yards and 22 total touchdowns in 2023, leading Oklahoma State to the Big 12 Championship Game.

While at Euless Trinity Gordon was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2022, reporting offers from various Division I programs as he starred in the Dallas area. He was named District 3-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2019, then earned co-offensive MVP honors the following season.
