Ross, a defensive tackle, has not appeared in an NFL game this season.

In September, he was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. The backup lineman initially joined the Cowboys in 2017 after being signed off the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. The move filled an empty roster spot, which was vacated by running back Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension.

Ross recorded five tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in three games. He appeared in 13 games in 2018 with 14 tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery.

All NFL players who are arrested are subject to the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
