Football fans proved once again that when the Dallas Cowboys are on TV, the masses will watch.
FOX Sports announced on Tuesday that Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round matchup between the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers drew a record 45.7 million viewers, the highest-rated game of the weekend, the second-most watched NFL Divisional playoff game on record and the most-watched telecast of any kind on any network since last year’s Super Bowl.

Viewership on the FOX broadcast peaked with just over 51.5 million viewers from 8:30-8:45 p.m.
The most-watched NFL Divisional playoff game also featured the Cowboys – 48.5 million people watched the Green Bay Packers defeat the Cowboys in 2017.
FOX’s other broadcast, the Saturday night matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, drew 28.6 millions views.
