The Cowboys experienced another preseason injury Saturday night.

Offensive lineman Josh Ball walked into the locker room during Dallas’ first offensive drive against the Raiders. Ball sustained a soft tissue injury in his hip-groin area that will sideline him for about two months, a person familiar with his MRI result told The Dallas Morning News on Sunday.

The guard/tackle is expected to avoid surgery, but an extensive absence is ahead for the 2021 fourth-round pick out of Marshall.
