The call also raised concern among the Fox broadcast crew of Greg Olsen and Kevin Burkhardt. When the game went into the halftime break, former Giants star Michael Strahan agreed that the call seemed egregious.

“Football is physical, somebody is going to get hit. That’s what it is. Didn’t hit him in the head, didn’t do anything illegal,” Strahan said.

On the other side of officiating, Parsons hasn’t drawn a holding call in 36 quarters. He appeared to be held during a 19-yard pass completion to Robbie Chosen late in the first quarter.

Dallas went into the intermission facing a 13-7 deficit after mostly limiting Miami’s explosive offense.
