Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had a little math trouble at training camp on Saturday

The Cowboys have been going to Oxnard for ... how many years, again?

During the opening ceremonies for training camp Saturday, the Cowboys’ owner presented a check of $25,000 to the city for welcoming the team back to Southern California.

Jones said in his 35 years as owner, the team has spent 24 of those seasons in Oxnard for training camp. The Cowboys also presented Oxnard mayor John C. Zargoza with a custom jersey with the No. 24 on it.

Jones was greeted wildly by fans before Saturday’s practice. He bowed several times to fans who chanted “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry,” before and after the ceremony. He also signed autographs.
