After a summer-long hold out, the wait is over.
The Dallas Cowboys secured Lamb to a four-year contract extension worth $136 million ($100 million guaranteed), a person familiar with the deal told The Dallas Morning News on Monday.
Lamb’s deal is the second-highest for a non-quarterback in NFL history, behind the Vikings’ Justin Jefferson, and Lamb’s $38 million signing bonus is the highest for a receiver in league history. Multiple other elite wide receivers have unsettled contract business, including San Francisco’s Brandon Aiyuk and Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase, that are sure to follow suit.
