FRISCO — After Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and cornerback Trevon Diggs missed practice on Wednesday, Mike McCarthy offered an update on Thursday about the players’ availability prior to the team’s Week 3 matchup vs. the Ravens.
McCarthy didn’t seem worried, the head coach saying that though the pair would be “limited” in Thursday’s practice, their injuries are “not of high concern” for Sunday. Lamb missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury while Diggs’ foot kept him off the practice field.
Lamb said his absence Wednesday was just because of soreness.
“It was sore yesterday,” Lamb said after practice on Thursday. “It will be alright.”
Mike McCarthy said CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs will be limited today "not of high concern," MM said. Mazi Smith has a back issue and Cowboys still trying to figure that out.

McCarthy also said that defensive tackle Mazi Smith is still working through a back issue. Smith missed his second straight practice on Thursday after leaving Wednesday’s practice early with Cowboys trainer Jim Maurer.
Tight end Jake Ferguson, who missed last Sunday’s game against the Saints with a sprained left knee ligament, practiced on Thursday on a limited basis.
Wide receiver Jalen Brooks was also limited in practice with an ankle injury.
Veteran players Zack Martin, DeMarcus Lawrence, Brandin Cooks and Jourdan Lewis, who all sat on Wednesday to rest, were full participants on Thursday.
