The Dallas Cowboys players are used to dealing with constant press attention, high expectations and internal drama, but that doesn’t mean they don’t also appreciate and recognize the platform they have.
After Thursday night’s 20-15 victory over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was exiting the field of play, down the tunnel and towards the locker room. He noticed a young fan asking the three-time Pro Bowler for his gloves.
Lamb did the fan one better and took off his cleats one by one and tossed them to the fan before making his way back down the tunnel toward the locker room.
This was awesome. As CeeDee Lamb ran off the field, he heard a kid shouting his name and asking for his gloves.

In the Cowboys’ win, Lamb had seven receptions for 98 yards and one touchdown. It was the best game of his season thus far for the fifth-year pro that the Cowboys selected with the 17th pick overall in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma.
Dallas will play the Pittsburgh Steelers next and while Lamb will look to build off his big performance Thursday night, the Steelers defense will be a tough task, as they currently rank fifth in passing defense and first in fewest points allowed per game.
