Eyeing Eagles battle, Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb says he has taken ‘big step’ in injury recovery

Dallas’ top WR has spent much of the week working through an AC joint sprain.

FRISCO — There was some question coming out of the loss to Atlanta whether CeeDee Lamb would be able to play this weekend.

There’s no question now. Lamb has gone through both practices this week and expects to take the field against Philadelphia on Sunday.

“I’ve taken a big step throughout the week in these last two to three days, if you will,’’ Lamb said. “I’m good. I was out there running today, getting right.’’

Lamb sprained the AC joint in his right shoulder against the Falcons. He stayed in to finish that game and intends to be back out there against the Eagles.

“It’s more so pain,’’ Lamb said of the injury. “Obviously, the tolerance. The range of motion is all there.

“As you can see I battled throughout the whole game, the rest of the game, finished the game. Granted, I didn’t play the way I wanted to, but it is what it is.

“It’s going to take a little more than that to get me out, as you can tell.’’

Lamb said he won’t be wearing a sling or a brace when he plays Sunday.

“No, I don’t do all of that,’’ he said.
