But the top player in the world still needs help to reach the top of Sunday’s leaderboard.

Scottie Scheffler needs some help to secure a victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial, but regardless of Sunday’s outcome, the No. 1 player in the world gave fans a moment that displayed he is just that.

On the eighth hole, a 189-yard par-3, Scheffler sank the second hole-in-one of his PGA Tour career.

Scheffler, the Colonial runner-up last year, bogeyed three of his last five holes for a 72 on Saturday after opening with consecutive 67s. But the ace pushed him back into the leaderboard’s top five.

He ended the day with a third 67 in his final round, finishing 7-under par for the tournament.

Emiliano Grillo claimed his first PGA Tour victory in more than 7 1/2 years on Sunday. Grillo and Adam Schenk both finished 8-under 272. Schenk got his second runner-up finish of the season and is still seeking his first victory after a 72 playing in the final group Sunday.

Scheffler finished tied for third at 7-under with Harry Hall.
