Anthony Edwards, Micah Parsons make bet: ‘I’ll bring him back some nice shoes’

Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons was wearing Edwards’ signature shoe while sitting courtside at Game 4.

Several Cowboys players were in attendance for Game 4 of Mavs-Wolves. Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs, Osa Odighizuwa, and former Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper saw the Mavericks drop Game 4. Parsons was sporting a Luka Doncic jersey with Anthony Edwards’ signature Adidas shoe.

Edwards, always confident, noticed Parsons wearing his shoe and made a promise to him.

The obvious implication is that Parsons won’t receive new shoes if the Timberwolves aren’t able to bring the series back to Dallas for a Game 6. Parsons clarified he wore the shoes because he is an Adidas brand ambassador, and was just supporting a fellow Adidas athlete.

Edwards authored his best performance of the series to keep Minnesota’s season alive. He finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists in Game 4.

The Mavericks now head back to Minnesota for Game 5, still in control of the series with a 3-1 lead.
