Mavs icon Jason Terry, rapper Travis Scott among celebs taking in Game 2 of NBA Finals

Terry wasn’t the only former Mavericks player in the stands at TD Garden.

Among the many celebrities at Game 2 of the NBA Finals was a name near and dear to Dallas Mavericks fans.

Dallas icon and NBA champion Jason Terry was in the TD Garden crowd for Sunday night’s Mavericks-Celtics showdown, as he was for Game 1. Terry was a key figure in the franchise’s 2011 title victory, averaging 18 points per game while teaming up with names like Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd and Tyson Chandler.

Terry wasn’t the only former Mavericks player in the stands. Sam Perkins, who was drafted by the Mavs in 1984, was also in Boston.

Meanwhile, the category of actors/comedians/musicians in attendance was highlighted by rapper Travis Scott and producer Metro Boomin. Actor Chris Tucker and rapper BIA rounded out the list.

Game 2 featured a heavy presence of athletes and sports figures, including three-time Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman, former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Duke basketball coach Jon Scheyer.

This year’s NBA Finals are full of Duke alumni, mainly Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II on Dallas’ side. Jayson Tatum represents the Blue Devils on Boston’s roster.

Celtics fan Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, also sat courtside Sunday, wearing a shirt with a drawing of Irving wearing a clown nose.
