Full coverage: Mavericks inch closer to 2024-25 season with media day in Dallas

The Mavericks held a media day at their practice facility ahead of traveling to Las Vegas for the start of training camp.

The 2024 Western Conference champion Dallas Mavericks were back home — for a minute.

Players returned to Dallas for Monday’s media day at their practice facility in the Design District, a day before they kicked off training camp at UNLV in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

It was a shortened offseason for the Mavs due to the NBA Finals run. While the anticipation is building for the new season, Monday was the first day reporters could start asking the questions that need to be addressed before the regular season begins Oct. 24 against the San Antonio Spurs.

Below, you can find media day coverage from Dallas Morning News writers Mike Curtis, Brad Townsend, Sasha Richie and Colin Capece.
