Ex-Lancaster RB Tre Bradford transfers from LSU to Oklahoma, reports say

He rushed for 58 yards and added a receiving touchdown in his lone season in Baton Rouge.

A former Texas high school football standout has found a new college home.

Former Lancaster running back Tre Bradford has transferred from LSU to Oklahoma, per multiple reports.

Bradford, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, announced his commitment to LSU early in 2020 after the Tigers were coming off a national championship win. He was ranked as the 15th best running back in the country.

He rushed 10 times for 58 yards in his lone season in Baton Rouge, and added three receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown. The running back entered the transfer portal on June 2.

Bradford, the No. 18 player and the third-ranked running back in the SportsDayHS Top 100 for the 2020 class, showed why he was one of the better players in the Dallas area during his senior season. He led 11-3 Lancaster in rushing, carrying the ball 169 times for 1,563 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also caught 12 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns.

In total, Bradford averaged over 9.5 yards per carry during his three-year varsity career for Lancaster.
