AP college football poll (Nov. 28): Oklahoma State closing in on top 4; Texas A&M, UTSA nosedive

The weekly college football rankings were released on Sunday.

After a Bedlam series classic that resulted in a thrilling 37-33 win for Oklahoma State, the Cowboys all of a sudden find themselves in the hunt for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

In Sunday’s AP Top 25 poll, the Cowboys rose two spots to No. 5. Oklahoma, meanwhile, is likely out of the playoff race after falling to No. 13.

Baylor remained at No. 9 after its 27-24 win over Texas Tech.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M was the biggest loser of regional teams. The Aggies dropped 10 spots to No. 24 following their 27-24 loss to LSU.
