Kim Mulkey is no stranger to the biggest stage in women’s college basketball and she proved that Friday at American Airlines Center.
Mulkey’s LSU team advanced to the national title game against Iowa by defeating Virginia Tech 79-72 in a national semifinal matchup. It’s the first time LSU will play for a championship, previously suffering five losses in the semifinals.
