All Elite Wrestling announces major event coming to Globe Life Field

AEW’s Tony Khan made the announcement Thursday during a news conference at the home of the Texas Rangers.

A massive night of professional wrestling is heading to North Texas.

All Elite Wrestling’s CEO and general manager Tony Khan, alongside Arlington Mayor Jim Ross and a group of the wrestling promotion’s top stars, announced Thursday that the pay-per-view event “All In Texas” will be coming to Globe Life Field next year.

The event is scheduled to take place on July 12, 2025. It will be the first stateside event held in a stadium in the company’s history, as well as its first pay-per-view event in Texas.

“It is a huge announcement on many, many levels. AEW: All In is such an important event in sports, and it’s one of the most marquee nights in pro wrestling,” Khan told The Dallas Morning News. “The timing of this is so … the timing of this feels like kismet.

“We’ve been waiting for so long to make this announcement.”

Since AEW’s inception in 2019, Khan has made Dallas-Fort Worth a common stop on its touring schedule, holding events at Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center and the University of Texas at Arlington’s College Park Center.

Most recently, Esports Stadium Arlington has hosted weeks of shows as part of the “AEW: Path To All In Summer Series” leading up to this year’s “All In” event, AEW’s second trip to Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Sunday, Aug. 25.

One year ago, “All In” in London drew an attendance number of 72,265 fans, becoming one of the highest-attended events in professional wrestling history. During the press conference, Khan also revealed AEW will be returning to London for All In in 2026.

Like AEW’s shows in London, however, next year’s event in Arlington is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors from around the world to Globe Life Field, creating a significant economic impact for the region.

“We are thrilled for Arlington to partner with All Elite Wrestling for their biggest event of 2025,” said Arlington Mayor Jim Ross. “Fans from around the world will converge on our beautiful city to be part of AEW: All In Texas, delivering a significant economic windfall to the region.”

Country music star Morgan Wallen holds the attendance record at Globe Life Field after 43,598 people came to watch him perform in 2022. Games 1 and 2 of the 2023 World Series drew 42,472 and 42,500 fans, respectively.

It is AEW’s intention to set a new mark in 2025, Khan told The News.

When reports emerged that a “stadium show” could be on the way to North Texas, some eyes turned toward AT&T Stadium, which played host to WrestleMania, the prized WWE showcase, in 2016 and 2022.

However, during a media call ahead of the Ring of Honor pay-per-view event held in Arlington last month, Khan dropped a nugget about the working relationship between TruMedia Networks, a sports analytics company which he owns, and the Texas Rangers that may have instead helped align Globe Life Field as the future destination for AEW.
