As fireworks lit up the sky in London, a bloodied Bryan Danielson raised the world title in the middle of the ring at Wembley Stadium as All Elite Wrestling’s new champion.
And as the confetti settled, the second edition of All In London was over.
Globe Life Field? All In Texas? You’re next.
The home of the Texas Rangers is set to host the flagship AEW pay-per-view event next July. And with the surprises the home crowd received across the pond — a surprise return to the ring from Nigel McGuinness, an appearance from NJPW G1 Climax winner Zack Sabre Jr. and much more — who knows what’s in the store when the wrestling world descends upon North Texas in 320 days?
Here’s what we think may happen at Globe Life Field during All In Texas, featuring educated guesses, as well as a little fantasy booking:
(Note: Predictions in no particular order, and doesn’t include potential preshow matches or the Casino Gauntlet match.)
Grudge match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland
Like Batman and the Joker, these two are just destined to fight forever. Page made his presence felt Sunday, nearly costing Strickland the world title on his own, and their next encounter is surely on the horizon. Who’s to say the fight won’t last until July 12?
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page
Fantasy match: Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Omega
Let’s get this one out of the way. Pure fantasy booking given the unknown runway that is the rest of Danielson’s career, as well as the recent health issues suffered by Omega keeping him out of action. But should they both find themselves ready, willing and able 11 months from now — why not run back one of AEW’s all-time matchups, and help propel Omega’s run back in the ring?
Winner: Kenny Omega
AEW TBS championship: Britt Baker (c) vs. Thunder Rosa
Like the crowd in London, the Texas faithful will surely see a night of familiar faces in big spots. And like Danielson-Omega, a lights out match between Baker and Thunder Rosa set the bar for the women’s division early on in AEW’s existence. Globe Life Field would be a grand stage to reignite the rivalry, with the Texan — who once paid for her own tour of the then-new stadium as an independent wrestler in 2020 — raising the championship.
Winner: Thunder Rosa
AEW trios championship: House of Black (c) vs. Dustin Rhodes, Ross & Marshall Von Erich
House of Black has been circling the trios titles for months, so they get the benefit of the doubt of holding them by next July. Rhodes and the Von Erichs just played pivotal roles for AEW and Ring of Honor throughout the company’s recent residency is Arlington — that momentum picks back up when AEW returns to North Texas for another classic Von Erich moment in front of their fans.
Winner: Dustin Rhodes, Ross & Marshall Von Erich
AEW tag team championship: FTR (c) vs. Undisputed Kingdom vs. Young Bucks vs. Bullet Club Gold
The “let’s get as many bodies as we can in this match” match. (Exercises like this reminds oneself of how hard it is not to leave at least some talented wrestlers off pay-per-views like these.) All builds in wrestling feuds are not built the same, and unfortunately for FTR, one of the greatest tag teams of all-time, this story gets a little muddled to included all the separate teams. However, they do retain at All In Texas.
Winner: FTR
AEW international championship: Adam Cole (c) vs. Will Ospreay
Ospreay reclaimed his international title on Sunday, and he will surely put on a show in his pending second reign. But it comes to an end at the hands of Cole, who returns from injury with the backing of the rest of Undisputed Kingdom. The extra muscle on the outside proves too much for Ospreay to get his championship back in Texas, but may propel him back to the world title picture instead.
Winner: Adam Cole
AEW TNT championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada
Okada, on the heels of losing his Continental Championship somewhere along the way, grows tired of propping up the year-plus reign of Perry as TNT champion and turns on The Elite to create this match. Babyface Rainmaker is back.
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
AEW women’s championship: Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Athena
Mercedes Mone as AEW women’s champion only feels like a matter of time. However, Athena has held the ROH women’s title since December 2022, and could be primed for a big run back on the main card with All In Texas happening right in her backyard. The Garland-native unfortunately comes up short in her effort against the CEO.
Winner: Mercedes Mone
AEW world championship: MJF (c) vs. Darby Allin
A battle of AEW pillars. MJF in a big spot at All In has become a standard for Tony Khan, and the salt of the Earth is back in the main event in 2025. Joining him on the top-tier will be Allin, who competed in coffin matches in the past two All Ins and now gets a shot at the world title.
At the press conference earlier this month announcing the show’s move to Texas, Allin admitted he’s already started scouting spots and scaffolding he could potentially jump off to make a lasting impact for fans in his match next year. The daredevil takes it all the way — with perhaps another Sting appearance (another Texan) — and wins his first world title.
Winner: Darby Allin
